PCR is a revolutionary product designed to completely remove 3rd degree glazed creosote from flue tiles or stainless steel chimney liners. When PCR is applied, it dissolves the creosote and absorbs it. As it absorbs the creosote and dries, it loses its adhesive properties and falls off the sides of the flue tiles. Any remaining PCR can be easily removed by chimney sweeping. PCR can be applied by brush in areas that are easily accessible or with a specially designed tool that can be pulled up through the chimney by a winch. To remove glazed creosote in smoke chambers, PCR can be applied with SaverSystems’ Smoke Chamber Sprayer. PCR should be used where glazed creosote is present in order to eliminate the dangers of chimney fires.
The photos below show the inside of a chimney covered with glazed creosote before, during, and after a PCR application. Click on each image to enlarge.

I’ve been in the chimney business for nearly 30 years.
There is absolutely nothing on the market that can compare to this!
It truly works like magic compared to the old methods.
Removes all of the creosote without harming the tiles or brick work.
Parging it on with the applicator gets every part of the flue while spraying it into the Smoke chamber gets all the hard to reach places 100%!!!

We are a sweep and full service company now 43+ years. Always ready to explor the new creativity of our trade. Last fall we came upon a job referred by another sweep. He had used ACS with this job for years. It just couldn’t cut the job. So we tried the chain and nothing. We tried another caustic chemical that alway worked before. But this was as if petrified ! So no being a little reluctant as all else had failed. We tried the Poultice. After letting it sit a week we swept and scanned to find the only sign of improvement, but still not to the level we needed. We then explained to the customer we made a dent and needed to apply another coating. A week later the customer called saying much is falling and could hear it raining down. We cleaned and scanned to find a miracle! ! It was a beautiful sight to behold. Ever since we have used this product as faithfully as their waster repellent. Once again Saver Systems brought home the bacon. Thank you John for never producing a second best product. Next I want to try this new applicator for offset flues I’m hearing about and a spray gun for high reach smoke chamber resurfacing
